All of the car is made of steel except the custom wood deck. The subfloor of the wood deck is made of 3/4" exterior plywood. All surfaces of the subfloor are painted black with Pittsburg Paints Ultra Exterior Latex Semi-Gloss Enamel. The subfloor is bolted to the steel frame.

The finished planked deck is made up of 70 individual planks 16 1/4" L x 1" W x 1/4" thick. The planks are made of SPF (Spruce, Pine, Fur species). They are stained with Pittsburg Paints Ultra Advanced Deck, Fence and Siding Stain. It is a Semi-Transparent Acrylic Oil Formula with Advanced 2-way Waterproofing and Ultra U.V. Protection. The planks are glued and nailed to the subfloor using exterior glue and 6 - 3/4" brad nails in an accurate pattern for a great look emulating scale bolt positions.

Shipping Charges start @ $250.00 per car and includes crating. We will get a quote to make sure it is no more than $250.00 before we process your order. We ship using Fedex. No out of the country (US) shipping.

6' Modern Flat Car Body - $500.00 in one solid color and we will apply vinyl letting provided by the buyer. (We recommend Connie Miracle for car lettering sets.) No trucks and couplers.
